PCT® Hydrophobic Brick and Slasto Varnish is a high-performance, UV-stable, transparent coating designed for bricks, slasto, and other cementitious surfaces. Engineered with advanced nano-technology resins and PCT Water Repellent Technology, this product provides superior protection against water ingress while enhancing surface durability and appearance.

Spread Rate: 4-6 m² per litre (depending on surface porosity)

Water Ingress Resistance: Zero after 24 hours (WACKER test method)
Temperature Application Range: 5°C (minimum) to 32°C (maximum)
Drying Time: 24 hours at 25°C
Overcoating Time: 24 hours
Full Cure: 48 hours
Shelf Life: 12 months (sealed)
Pot Life: 12 hours after opening
Mixing: Stir frequently for best consistency
Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is dry and free from dust, dirt, or foreign debris
Cleaning: Clean tools and equipment with potable water
Packaging Sizes: Available in 5L and 20L triple-lock packs

Application Instructions:

Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or debris.
Application: Apply using a brush, roller, or airless spray. Do not thin or reduce the product.
Coating Process: Apply the first coat and allow 24 hours of curing before applying the second coat. For high-traffic areas, a third coat may be required for enhanced durability.
Maintenance: For driveways or vehicle parking areas, apply multiple coats and perform regular maintenance to ensure long-term performance.

Restrictions:

Temporary blotching may occur if the coating is exposed to water or moisture during the curing process. However, the coating will return to its natural transparent high-gloss state once fully dry.
